Types of Linear Lighting

Generally,  there are third main types of LED linear lighting fixtures: recessed, surface mounted, pendant/suspended.

• Recessed. For this type of linear lighting fixtures are recessed into a wall, ceiling, or floor, flush with the ceiling so they do not protrude, allowing for a more efficient use of space.

• Surface-mounted. The most common type of linear light, surface-mounted fixtures are those that are mounted directly onto a wall or ceiling, it can add decoration to the space.

• Pendant or suspended. The light fixture was suspended in the air by a rope. They are ideal alternatives to chandeliers or pendants, available in a wide range of styles to suit any space.
