What is an optical reflector?

Reflectors are usually composed of highly reflective materials such as aluminum or glass, which reflect the light emitted by the light source in the required direction to achieve an optical design that changes the optical 

distribution.

What is glare?

Glare is a visual sensation caused by excessive and uncontrolled brightness in the field of view. It is produced by brightness in the visual field that is so much greater than the brightness to which the eyes can handle. 

Glare ends up limiting a person's ability to distinguish details and objects.Glare can cause visual indiscernibility or discomfort. The higher the brightness of the light source, the greater the irritation to the eyes. 

How to choose the right downlight?

1. Optical reflector cup,  DTK has a strong stability reflector, 24/38/55 beam angle options.

2. Anti-glare cup. For an anti-glare cup, the bigger one is a good choose. Because it allows you to freely place it further away from the subject and get a more uniform reflection. There are black and white color, matte 

    and glossy surfaces. Different choices have different anti-glare effects.

3. Honeycomb anti-glare, can filter excess light

4. The depth of the light source will also affect the glare of the lamp. The deeper the depth, the less excess light.

The DTK series downlight is composed of an optical reflector cup + a bright anti-glare cup, which is double anti-glare and truly reaches UGR<19. When looking up, the light source is not dazzling, the more beneficial 

to protecting the eyes. And it has IP44 and can be used in humid places.
